Introducing DubWOD v3.0 – the Double Under troubleshooting edition.
We first introduced DubWOD in 2020 in response to the Covid pandemic. At a time when gyms were shut down and families were confined to their homes, home workouts were the go-to exercise regime for anyone wanting to maintain their fitness. DubWOD is a free e-book download which provided workout ideas that can be done at home, with minimal equipment and a jump rope. Versions 1.0 & 2.0 are still available to download, for free, from our website.
Fast forward to present day, gyms have reopened and life is mostly back to normal. People are back working out in the gym and at home. However, one element remains consistent since the days that DubWOD was released: the frustration with learning double unders.
This document is a troubleshooting resource that may be the lightbulb moment someone needs to achieve that elusive first double under. It is also a breakdown of the most common mistakes people make when learning double unders. I have personally used these tips with multiple CrossFit Games Athletes, functional fitness enthusiasts and general gym goers with great success.
