Why are there different cable weights?

We use a progressive cable weight system based on learning double unders. By giving a beginner a lightweight speed cable, you're giving them a tool that SPEEDS UP the movement. As a beginner you need to learn how to control the movement, perform it slowly, then increase your speed as you improve.

How to size your Rx Jump Rope

Using the 'rule of thumb' being your height plus 3 feet is the ideal cable length for beginners. However, hand position will affect the length of your cable at you feet and should be taken into account when sizing your cable. Please refer to the sizing chart
